What exactly does SixOne8 do?
You define trading strategies — indicators, thresholds, timeframes, direction — and apply them to the markets you follow. SixOne8 scans those markets continuously, scores each one against your conditions, ranks the best matches for you every day, and sends an alert the moment a strategy's conditions are fully met.
Does SixOne8 place trades for me?
No. SixOne8 is a monitoring and alerting tool. It tells you when and where your strategy's conditions are met; the decision and the execution stay with you and your broker or exchange.
Which markets are supported?
Forex pairs, gold and other metals, and major crypto pairs. New instruments are added regularly.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Strategies are built visually — pick indicators, set thresholds, choose timeframes. If you can describe your setup, you can build it in SixOne8.
How fast are alerts?
Scanning is continuous, and alerts are pushed the moment your conditions are confirmed on the timeframe you chose — typically within seconds of the qualifying candle.
What does the match percentage mean?
It's how close a market currently is to fully meeting your strategy's conditions. 100% means every condition is met right now; lower scores show markets that are approaching your setup, so you can see what's building.
Can I test a strategy before going live?
Yes — extensive testing is built in. Run any strategy across years of historical data on any supported instrument and timeframe, review win rate and match history, refine, and re-test in seconds.
What can the AI do?
Two things. Describe a setup in plain English and the AI builds it into a precise, scannable strategy — named, structured and ready to run. Or hand it an existing strategy for review: it flags conditions that are too strict or too loose and suggests missing filters. AI features are available on Pro and Elite.
What is Refine?
An evolution engine for your strategies. Refine creates dozens of variations, backtests every one, discards the bottom half, and breeds the winners together — repeating for multiple generations until what remains is your idea, sharpened and tested against history.
What are testing credits?
Entry checks, backtests, Refine and the AI assistant share one weekly credit balance: 5 on Free, 150 on Pro and 750 on Elite. Scanning and alerts never use credits.
Is SixOne8 really free to start?
